Fact Check: Are BLACKPINK’s Jennie and BTS’s V still dating? 

On March 2nd, a topic titled “Don’t you think Jennie and V are still dating?” was published on the Korean forum Pann Nate, drawing significant attention. In this topic, the author included 2 photos of Jennie and V, respectively, and highlighted several details they find suspicious. 

“The bag and the pointy shoes (of Jennie) all appeared in the photo (of V)”, the author also wrote, adding, “Is this a coincidence?”, seemingly inferring that Jennie and V are still dating through their “evidence” photos.

However, many netizens disproved the claims, pointing out that the season doesn’t match between the two photos, with V’s image likely taken a long time ago. Below are some comments regarding this topic:

• Their seasons don’t even match, and Taehyung (real name of V) just uploaded an old photo. The account that posted that is a delusional shipper account for both of them. That one person freaking out alone is just insane—hope your own fave gets hit with the boomerang instead, lol. It’s just a bait post, so don’t give it any attention.
• You’ve been doing this all day on the forum, and now you even wrote a post here, lol. Does it make sense to compare Jennie’s January photo wearing a padded hat with V’s photo in short sleeves and shorts? No one believes your claims, so just stop.
• You’re spreading false information. Jennie’s photo was taken in Yongsan Hannam-dong, which isn’t even near V’s house. Watching you all freak out over nothing is honestly disgusting.
• First, you tried to claim that some sticker of a bearded guy was Jennie, then you insisted it was in front of V’s house, and when that didn’t work, you deleted everything. Now you’re just spouting nonsense, desperately trying to make it stick. Seriously, let go of successful V and go hype up your own flop instead.

Meanwhile, BTS’s V and BLACKPINK’s Jennie were tangled in dating rumors after alleged leaked photos of the two together were spread across the net back in 2022. However, neither YG nor HYBE responded to the rumors, and the couple were later suspected to have broken up.
